The Beauty of Invisalign®
Are you embarrassed by your crooked smile but don’t want to endure the look of metal braces? Do you wish for a picture-perfect smile and the confidence to show it off?
Invisalign is the preferred choice for many people who want to straighten their teeth discreetly without the challenges of traditional orthodontics.
Your Renton Invisalign dentist will provide you with a series of custom-made plastic aligners. Depending on your treatment plan, you will change your aligners every week to two weeks to gradually move your teeth into position. No sharp wires or tight metal brackets!
What Do You Need to Learn About Invisalign®?
- How does Invisalign® straighten teeth?
Your Renton Invisalign dentist will use iTero scanning technology to create a digital impression of your teeth. The scan is sent to dental technicians who work with your dentist to create a customized treatment plan. A series of unique clear plastic aligners are fabricated and sent to your dentist. Aligners are placed over your teeth like a mouthguard. Every one to two weeks you will change aligners that will gradually move your teeth to the correct position. Although your clear aligners are removable, it is important to wear them as long as possible throughout the day (and night) for ideal results.
- Does Invisalign® work?
Invisalign is clinically proven to treat most orthodontic cases successfully. Clear aligner technology is continually improving to increase success rates and patient satisfaction. Currently, over 5 million smiles have been straightened with Invisalign!
- Does Invisalign® fix overbites?
Yes! The Invisalign treatment process can straighten mild to severe cases of:
- Gapped teeth
- Crowded teeth
Every case is different and although almost everyone is a candidate for Invisalign, you should book a consultation with your dentist.
- Should I get braces or Invisalign®?
Your dentist can help you decide which orthodontic treatment is best for you based on your assessment. However, most people choose Invisalign for the following reasons:
- No metal mouth
- No harsh wires or brackets
- Less dental appointments
- Ease of care
- How can I afford Invisalign®?
Invisalign and traditional braces cost about the same. However, Invisalign, on average, takes less treatment time to correct smiles. Orthodontic insurance coverage and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) usually cover the cost of Invisalign treatment. At Denti Belli, we offer an in-house dental plan and flexible financing options.
